Indie feature film House of the Shark continued principle production Friday August 28th, 2015 in Kalama Valley on the island of O’ahu. The film is a coming of age story about a nine-year old boy and his single mother. When an accident sends her to the hospital the boy must stay with his estranged grandfather on the West side of O’ahu. The movie stars Kamahele as the boy and Tiare Thomas as his mother. Principle photography started as a short film in 1996 with a 14-year old Thomas and John V.O. Britos, and was picked up again 16 years later in 2012. The film is produced by Black Sand Productions in association with Hula Girl Productions. The Writer-Director is Pete Britos.
