Train to Busan is the second Korean zombie Movie that was launched in 2016, and first big hit in South Korea. It was directed by Yeon Sang-ho and starred Gong Yoo, Jung Yu-mi, and Ma Dong-seok. The train location took place from Seoul station to Busan station. The survivors are trying to get to the safe zone which is in the city of Busan.
The first scene was about the biotech district people who leaked the virus near the told gate in Jinyang. The workers are trying to disinfect around the area before it spreads but it already affects the deer. When the driver passed through the contaminated area, he hit the deer, it came back to life and was blind .
The main character, Sok-woo, who is divorce, has a daughter, working as a fund manager with YS Biotech. He is one of the members who invented a zombie virus. He was unaware about it at first and found out later when the virus spread all over the world. His daughter is living with her father and grandma, called her mother and said that she wants to see her mother and spend her birthday in Busan. Her father argues and won’t allow it and persuades his daughter to go to Busan next week. He is very busy and won’t be able to go this week but free next week. Her father gave her a present early because won’t have time to give it to her tomorrow but the present was the same when it was Children’s Day and really wants to go to Busan. Sok-woo decided to take her daughter to Busan to see her Mother.
Sok-woo and his daughter leave early in the morning and head to the station. Bunch of people who got on the train are heading to Busan station.One of the passengers got injured from someone who got infected and turned into a zombie. The train started moving and started to get a virus attack from the station and inside the train.
The survivors group was trying gather forces of the people who didn’t got bitten by the zombie and wait until they reached to Busan station, where army is protecting. Train operator announced that we will stopped to Daejeon. The survivor got off the train and look around whether its safe or not but it already got effect. They ran back to the train but were attacked by the zombie and some people got split up. They made it to the train and the other group were trying to gather everyone but the other survivor group doesn’t trust each other because they don’t know whether they are bitten or not. The other people tell them to move to a different room and split into two groups. One of elder passengers got bitten and her friend was very upset with them. She opened the door and most of the people turned to zombies. Only the eight passengers survived and continued heading to Busan station.
They are almost to Busan.and one of the survivors got bitten and refused that he turned to zombie. He started to fight the other survivors but only Sok-woo who was trying to save her daughter got bitten by the zombie. Sok-woo asked the Pregnant surviver to take care of his daughter and commit suicide before he can turn to the zombie.
His daughter and Pregnant made it to the Korean Military base at Busan and they survived.
The story is very heartbroken and a horror movie. Lot of people who have a family, and friends protecting their loved one but turned to zombies. Only the two survivors survived and made it to Busan. I think that what if it really happens and it will be so realistic, scary, only stay inside surviving, low stock of food and heartbreaking.
