A film like Baraka holds a mirror to reality because it shows the viewer the beauty in nature and the art that happens when people come together to accomplish a task. Baraka non-conventional narrative took the viewer from multi-tasking of listening and viewing the scenes at the same time. Instead, the viewer is presented with scenes that offer no context beyond what’s presented and scenes that reflect just the beauty and thought-provoking shots of nature and people in their natural element. Alice in Wonderland (Tim Burton)

Tim Burton’s films always have his unique style to them. His vision for direction always has extravagant CGI with a fantasy horror feel. I love the movie Alice in Wonderland as a child because of the fantasy-like land where Alice goes on an adventure. After seeing it as a Tim Burton film, it has made the story of Alice in Wonderland an even more exhilarating experience.
